Alumni of the Pacific Theological College and the leadership of the Anglican Church of Melanesia (ACOM) gathered to hear the Pasifika Communities University (PCU) transition update Principal Rev Professor Upolu Va’ai presented. Professor Va’ai said PTC is accountable to its churches who are not just members but also owners of PTC and need to know and have a say in how it’s developing. His presentation focused on the various aspects of PTC’s transition to PCU including the vision of ‘whole of life’, the two new schools of the University, infrastructure development, the communities-based model of education, campuses and transition documents. He added many of the transitional aspects of PTC has been completed. A question and answer sessions followed with lunch. The gathering was held at the ACOM conference room.
