The ATLA Database

The PTC Library has subscribed to a new database known as ATLA Serials PLUS Database which replaces ATLA Religion Database with ATLA Serials.

The new database allows for federated searches meaning that with one user login students can access both the periodicals database and the books available in the PTC library.

Librarian Nalini Premadish says this is possible because the periodicals database is integrated with the PTC Library enabled by the Liberty System.

ATLA Serials PLUS includes more than 490 full-text journals in many diverse areas of religion and theology, with full-text content in more than 20 languages from more than 35 different countries.

This new version has about 100 more articles than the former database at a more affordable cost.
