Finance Assistant (IMR)

The Department of Institute for Mission and Research (IMR) of PTC invites applications for the position of Finance Assistant.

Role:

Reporting to the Finance and Partnership Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for daily transactional task and providing support in achieving project outcome. The successful candidate would ensure:

  • Timely procure to pay process.
  • Timely posting into MYOB accounting system.
  • Quality budget monitoring with every payment preparation and acquittals.
  • Efficient co-ordination with programme staff and project officers in implementing the project activities.
  • Assist with Project Audits.

Qualification and Skills Required:

  • A Bachelor Degree in Accounting (minimum) with at least 2years experience in Finance or related fields.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and work under minimum supervision.
  • Fast learner, enthusiastic, motivating and initiative, team player and ability to relate to all levels of people.
  • Excellent oral, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Skills and experience in Budget monitoring and implementation.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Knowledge of MYOB will be an added advantage.
