PTCEE Outreach

LATE in the month of April and a few days into May, PTCEE had an opportunity to spread the word about its activities to members of several Divisions (Wasewase) of the Methodist Church in Fiji.

This was during the annual meetings of the Divisions. Presentations were made at the Nausori, Kinoya, Nabua and Lami Divisions.

Questions from the audience were mainly about the cost of units and how long it would take to complete a particular programme.

Some questions also touched upon the relevance of a theological qualification in a secular world and the possibility of courses being offered in the iTaukei language.

It is only proper that we thank the President of the Methodist Church, Rev Dr Epineri Vakadewavosa, for the opportunity to be at the Divisional meetings. We must also thank Reverend Pita Qasevakatini for allowing us to be part of a programme that was held at Vatukarasa in Nadroga where we shared with youth leaders from the West about PTCEE.

Not wanting to lose opportunities, a request has been made that PTCEE also be allowed to make a presentation at Circuit quarterly meetings or bose vula tolu.

We are hopeful for a positive response and in the meantime are engaging other means of getting the word out about PTCEE and the work it does.

Ends….
