The Principal of the Pacific Theological College

Rev. Dr Upolu Luma Vaai has served at PTC since 2014. He is also the Associate Professor in Theology and Ethics. He is an ordained Minister for the Methodist Church of Samoa, a celebrated author and internationally renowned speaker on Pacific traditional knowledge and relationality in the context of theology. Rev. Dr. Gwayaweng Kiki is also the Associate Professor in Church Ministry. Dr Kiki has extensive experience in public school teaching, a parish pastor and lecturer in theological and teacher education institutions in Papua New Guinea (PNG). Read More

The Registrar

Selai Tuidrokadroka has served PTC diligently for well over 20 years. She has great knowledge and depth in its institutional history, and played a crucial role in the academic success of its graduates ensuring their well-being is well looked after. She is a member of the Methodist Church in Fiji.

Director Finance & Administration

Sanjeet Pratap Singh is a young, brilliant mind who strategises and oversees healthy financial functioning of PTC. He is a member of the Fiji Institute of Accountants. He is a member of the Anglican Diocese of Polynesia.

Director PTC Extension Education

Sailosi Batiratu an editor with vast experiences in media and advocacy work and University extension education. He joined PTCEE in August 2018. He is a member of the Catholic Church in Fiji.

Director Institute for Mission and Research

Aisake Casimira is one of Fiji’s leading researchers in the field of Social Sciences. He is highly qualified in Divinity and Theology and was awarded as a distinct scholar of theology and public ethics at the Gregorian University of Rome in Italy.

Director Women’s Fellowship Development Programme

Sosefo Tigarea is a talented artist. Her creative flair has helped women that undergo the courses offered by the Women’s Fellowship programme to create works of art from waste plastic and natural resources. She also serves in church ministry as a Reverend’s wife and is a member of the Methodist Church of Fiji.

The Librarian

Nalini Premadish is the guardian of the largest theology library of the South Pacific (excluding Australia and New Zealand. Her deep knowledge and innovation in library intricacies leads to the George Knight Library of PTC remaining on par with other theology libraries around the world. She is a member of the Sanatan Faith Community.

Head of Department Biblical Studies

Professor Holger Szesnat is from Germany. He studied in South Africa and is a member of both the Anglican Church of Aotearoa in New Zealand and the Evangelical Church in the Rhineland in Germany. Read More

Rev. Dr. Ralph Weinbrenner is from Germany where he studied theology. He is also ordained minister in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Wurttemberg in Germany.

Head of Department Church Ministry

Rev. Dr. Donald Samuel grew up in India. He first pursued a science degree and later joined the Tamilnadu Theological Seminary. He achieved advanced degrees in Theology from South Africa. He is an ordained minister of the Church of South India.

Richard Davis

Senior Lecturer in Theology & Ethics

Dr. Richard A. Davis studied Theology in New Zealand and achieved his PhD from the University of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom. He is an Elder in the Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa, New Zealand. Read More

Rev. Dr. Faafetai Aiava is an alumni of PTC where he earned his PhD. He is also an ordained minister of the Congregational Christian Church of Samoa. Read More

Lecturer in Biblical Studies (New Testament & Hellenistic Greek)

Rev. Dr. Fatilua Fatilua is a PTC alumni where he studied for his Masters in Theology. He also pursued Masters and his PhD in Public Administration with the State University of New York in Albany. He is a member of the Congregational Christian Church of Samoa and PTC’s choir master.
